The other week we attended a fundraiser for the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm organized by the amazingly talented brothers of hOmE design. Remember them?

The party, held at Paulie Gee's, featured food and of course booze

 provided by the brothers' clients and friends listed below.

Glad we were able to attend and support a great cause!

Four Peas in Two Pods

They're brothers, live together (in our hood) and work together (in interiors), sound familiar?They've worked on some of our favorite spots like Elsa (the old Hanger Bar-remember the jewelry in the front, now sold at Against Nature?) and the Manhattan Inn. I can't believe this, but we still haven't checked out Paulie Gee's which is just blocks away from us!

"Houston" on Patmos and some Tim Walker

First up, a Greek cafe "The Houston" on the island of Patmos. Opened by a greek man (now run by his two eldery sisters after his passing) who made his fortune in Texas and returned to his homeland to share his success. The cafe is a paean to the emigres dream come true-a shrine to the American Dream. (look for pic of JFK on fridge) World of Interiors July 2009
