Sara the Bird

Sara's nickname growing up was "Bird" (our dad still calls her that to this day). When she was a baby (well, when WE were babies) she used to open her mouth all the time like a bird waiting to be fed when she was hungry...which was often! Not much has changed!

These are for her while she visits San Fran. French artist, birds, color...her favorites! xxx

Vacation...soon!

Sara and I are going on vacation soon with our mom and cannot wait. Although we will not be staying at the below, we will for sure be surrounded by these colors! Hopefully there will be some good photos to come! In the meantime, check out Compass Point Beach Resort for more images.

Climbing High in the 70's

I love the color and clothing in these images from my new favorite book, The Stone Masters.
Makes me wish (once again) I was around in the 1960's + 70's.

Identical Twin Love

I read about the Starn twins (identical, too!) in World of Interiors a few months back and fell in love with their work and the fact that they too work together. Sara and I inspire each other (or at least try to!) all the time. I can't imagine designing or creating something without her. Since art/design is an extension of oneself, it would be impossible to do so with out my other half!

Doug and Mike have been installing "Big Bambu" on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art which is set to open tomorrow April 27. Can't wait to check it out (with Sara of course)!
