Fairfield Porter

I love American painter Fairfield Porter's (1907-1975) depiction of textiles and interiors. Here are some of my favorite pieces of his.

    These portraits are so incredible. I love how he warps space and plays with it, especially in the interior paintings. Feels a lot to me like Alice Neel's portraits. If you haven't seen, here's a good link: http://www.aliceneel.com/gallery/
