The above was built in 1909 Selma, Alabama by Jewish businessmen to act as a Men's Club. After 30 years as an Elks club, it was boarded up in 1960. For the past 10 years, new owner David Hulbert has been cleaning up the 20,000 sq foot space while maintaining the building's raw industrial look. |

ReplyDeleteIt is just enough of this whole shabby chic/Grey Gardens look. Dusty linoleum and peeling paint (love lead?) look like the ash heap they are.
